class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The&nbsp;Lonchodinae&nbsp;are a subfamily of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Stick_insect\">stick insects<\/a>&nbsp;in the family&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lonchodidae\">Lonchodidae<\/a>&nbsp;found in: Australasia, Asia, Africa, Southern America and the Pacific.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The subfamilies&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Necrosciinae\">Necrosciinae<\/a>&nbsp;and Lonchodinae, formerly part of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Diapheromeridae\">Diapheromeridae<\/a>, were determined to make up a separate family and were transferred to the re-established family&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lonchodidae\">Lonchodidae<\/a>&nbsp;in 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
